Special Programs:

  • Advanced Work Class (AWC)
    Advanced Work Class is a full-time program in the Boston Public Schools that provides an accelerated academic curriculum for students in grades 4, 5 and 6. Students are expected to complete more school work and more home study. Student participation is by invitation only and is based solely on the student’s scores on an eligibility test.
  • Making Music Matter
    Making Music Matters is a collaborative partnership between the Beethoven, Ohrenberger, and Mozart Elementary Schools, providing instrumental education to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students in these West Zone Boston Public Schools.
  • Technology Goes Home
    Technology Goes Home is a technology training program serving inner-city families through the Boston Public Schools.
