“Souper Bowl” Food Drive to Tackle Hunger

Monday, January 25 through Friday, February 5

While excitement builds for the Super Bowl, the Beethoven-Ohrenberger School is hosting a food drive to collect canned or boxed, non-perishable foods for the Hyde Park Emergency Food Pantry.  This annual food drive is a wonderful opportunity for our students to build awareness of those who may be less fortunate in our community. Please join in the efforts to tackle hunger!

Please bring your contributions to your homerooms 1/25/16-2/5/16.

Suggested items include (please no glass containers):

  • canned tuna, chicken, or other meats
  • canned soups or chili
  • plastic bottles or cans of 100% fruit juice
  • pasta, rice, or other grains
  • healthy cereal
  • dry or boxed shelf-stable milk
  • canned beans
  • peanut butter
  • canned vegetables

Thank you for your participation in this worthwhile event!
