Principal Eileen Nash will be joining the Boston Public Schools executive leadership team in the role of Deputy Superintendent of Individualized Learning, effective January 2013. Current Beethoven & Ohrenberger Vice Principals Ed Puliafico and Naomi Krakow will become co-prinicipals and John Chojnowski will be appointed as vice principal of the Ohrenberger.
In the words of Superintendent Carol R. Johnson, “Over the past three years, Principal Nash has done a tremendous job as principal of both buildings. Through her leadership, the Beethoven/Ohrenberger K-8 has become a highly chosen, highly functioning K-8 school, one that can serve as a model through the district. Because of her proven success, I have no doubt in my mind that she was the best person for the job of Deputy Superintendent of Individualized Learning. I also have no doubt in my mind that all of the excellent work that has taken place at the Beethoven/Ohrenberger under Ms. Nash’s leadership will continue after she leaves. During her tenure, she invested significant time and energy into developing a strong leadership team. …I am confident that the Beethoven/Ohrenberger will continue to grow and thrive…”
