From the Principal — March 2011

February was a very busy month!  I would like to thank the Parent Council for their two activities last month.  The craft fair was a wonderful activity for a Saturday morning.  The Makeshift theater evening was a fun filled theater experience for the children of both the Ohrenberger and Beethoven.  Thank you for your support and attendance of these activities.  Thank you to the Parent Council for having such an array of activities for our families.

Green Day
We will celebrate Green Day on Wednesday, March 16th.

All students are encouraged to wear green on that day.

Art Show
The Second Annual Art Show at the Beethoven School will be held on Thursday, March 10th.  It will be from 5—7 PM.  It is a wonderful evening to see the art work.  All classroom teachers will be there so can check in with them about your child.

Evacuation Day
In observance of Evacuation Day, there will be no school on Thursday March 17th.

What’s for Lunch???

During the month of March grade 3 will be taking the English Language Arts portion of the MCAS test.  As the test is being administered we need to have some small changes to the Beethoven.

The Computer Lab will be closed during testing times and students will receive Science during that time.  A complete calendar of the testing dates will be sent home with the students.
