From the Principal — March 2010

Rose Fundraiser

Thank you all for your support of the rose fundraiser. During this fiscally difficult time your generous support is greatly appreciated.

Art Show

The first Annual Art Show at the Beethoven School was a huge success. I would like to thank all of the families for their attendance. I would also like to commend our students for their excellent works of Art!

Green Day

We will celebrate Green Day on Tuesday, March 16th. All students are encouraged to wear green on that day.

Evacuation Day

In observance of Evacuation Day, there will be no school on Wednesday March 17th.

What’s for Lunch???

Ever wonder what is for lunch and you do not have your menu available. Now you can go online to www.schoolmenu.com and find out what is being served for both breakfast and lunch.

Save the Date!

Get ready to start cooking your favorite ethnic dish. International Night will be on Thursday, April 15, 2010!

Parking Lot Safety

Please use the Crosswalk! Please use the Crosswalk! Please use the Crosswalk!

Many students are running in between the busses during both arrival and dismissal and we want everyone to be safe. Thank you!

MCAS Testing

During the month of March grades 3 and 4 will be taking the English Language Arts portion of the MCAS test. As the test is being administered we need to have some small changes to the Beethoven.

The Computer Lab will be closed during testing times and students will receive Science during that time. A complete calendar of the testing dates will be sent home with the students.

MCAS Prep Tips:

  1. Early to bed!
  2. Eat a good breakfast!
  3. 100% Attendance
